These terms govern your use of design-counts.co.uk and any services you purchase from Design Counts, a trading name of Square1 Design Group (sole trader). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Our services
Design Counts provides design-led marketing and content support for accountancy firms, delivered through monthly retainer packages (Auto-Pilot, Co-Pilot, Co-Pilot+, Navigator) and one-off project work, as described on our website and in any proposal or brochure we send you.
Packages and units
- Each retainer package includes a set number of production units per month, as described on our packages page.
- A unit is roughly one hour of our time; simple tasks use fewer units, larger projects use more.
- Unused units may roll over to the following month only, at Design Counts’ discretion. Any rolled-over units not used by the end of that following month are forfeited.
- Additional units beyond your monthly allowance are billed at £50 each.
Payment
- Packages are billed monthly in advance via GoCardless.
- Payment is due on the date shown at signup; continued non-payment may result in suspension of services.
- We are not currently VAT registered, so prices shown do not include VAT.
Contract term and cancellation
- All packages run on a rolling contract with a minimum term of 3 months.
- After the minimum term, either party may cancel with 31 days’ written notice.
- Cancelling doesn’t entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
Revisions and approval
- Content and designs are provided for your review before publishing wherever possible.
- Each item includes up to 2 rounds of revisions.
Intellectual property
- Once paid in full, you own the final deliverables we create for you.
- We retain the right to display completed work in our own portfolio and marketing, unless you ask us not to.
- Any third-party assets (stock imagery, fonts, templates) remain subject to their own licence terms.
Confidentiality
We treat any business information, meeting transcripts, or client data you share with us as confidential, and use it only to deliver your services.
Limitation of liability
We’ll deliver services with reasonable care and skill, but we can’t guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. follower growth, lead volume) from content or design work. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in question in the preceding 3 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
